From Saturday 9 August to Thursday 11 September 2025, Thurrock Museum incorporated Letters From the Global South into their summer programme, alongside the immersive performance HOME:Zero and the From Here to Zero exhibition.
HOME:Zero invited visitors into a fantastical, interactive world where time is running out inspired by National Gallery paintings. Participants were encouraged to use their imagination to create extraordinary changes and envision a more sustainable future.
The From Here to Zero exhibition explored Thurrock’s industrial heritage and the region’s transition away from fossil fuels. By including Letters From the Global South, the exhibition highlighted the global impacts of the climate and nature crisis and encouraged visitors to consider actions they could take in their own communities.
We were delighted to see the museum use our exhibition as a tool to engage local audiences. Together, these events sparked discussion and action, and they will instigate the setup of a new Thurrock Community Energy Group
